"Poème" is the debut album of Berlin-based trio Reich / Baumgärtner / Pringle. The pieces are freely improvised and were recorded in Berlin in 2022. Featuring the unusual instrumentation of piano, violin and drums/percussion, the three independent voices create a web of sound characterised by dense, playful communication. Their unmistakable collective sound invites you to pause and listen closely. Their music is multi-layered, intricate, unrestrained and incisive.

The trio, consisting of Maria Reich, Moritz Baumgärtner and Mark Pringle, came together during the pandemic in 2020.. Together they create a vibrant acoustic musical environment. Delicate tapestries of sound weave themselves into finely sculpted soundscapes, punctuated by wild, colourful outbursts. In the search for free interaction based on mutual trust, a focused listening environment is created. The three musicians draw on a wide variety of musical influences, transforming them into something new and uniquely their own.
